This four part sermon series will walk verse-by-verse through Matthew 1-2 focusing on four seemingly ‘interruptions‘ around the coming of the Messiah.
The Savior of the world comes at a time in history when God has been apparently ‘silent’ for 400 years, then all of of a sudden – the Christ is born – a salvivic interruption! Jesus’ arrival alters the course of history and speaks to the depth of God’s love, showing that salvation often comes when it’s least expected.
Throughout this series, we’ll reflect on God’s ability to disrupt, surprise, and bring light into places of perceived silence. This series will encourage us to see how God’s redemptive purpose can change our lives, reminding us that He is faithful to meet us, often in ways we don’t forsee. Join us as we celebrate the unexpected power of the incarnation and the hope it brings to a waiting world.
