Maddie Huang

After graduating from the University of Arkansas (woo pig!), Maddie worked as a pediatric registered nurse for two years in Missouri before moving to Texas. She made Jesus the Lord of her life senior year of high school at a Kanakuk summer camp and now loves telling people how Jesus radically changed her life.

Maddie has been on staff at Fielder Church since 2016. She started as the part-time Girls Student Pastor and now serves as the Communications Director managing the communications team. She’s passionate about finding creative ways to expand the gospel and give glory to God for ways He is using Fielder to reach the unreached, be radically generous, and shepherd families.

Maddie married her husband Peter in 2018, they have a black lab named Koda and they love visiting their family in the PNW. Outside of work, Maddie volunteers with the Fielder College ministry, is faithfully learning Spanish on Duolingo, enjoys taking care of her 25+ house plants, serves as the VP Commissioner for the Arlington Housing Authority Board, and has had the opportunity to travel overseas to several countries in Central Asia, East Asia, South America & the Middle East to engage in cross-cultural ministry & support church planting efforts among unreached people groups.
