Yojan Herrera
Spanish Associate Pastor
Yojan was born and raised in Bogotá – Colombia. He is husband to Marcela and father to Simon and Theo. Yojan studied business, specializing in mathematics and financial operations. Yojan worked in the banking industry as well as in the treasury and as a discount broker. But it was in the midst of working in global finance with Citi Group, that God called Yojan to the ministry. Yojan, left the corporate world and dedicate himself as a volunteer to his passion, the church, supporting himself with a small bookstore.
Yojan entered the Latin American Fraternity of theological studies, receiving a degree in Theology. After coming to the United States, Yojan earned his bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Care and Theology at Christ for the Nations Ins. (Dallas – Texas), and also a Master of Arts in Bible Studies at D.I.U. (Coral Springs-Florida). In 2013, Yojan was ordained as a pastor in Los Angeles, California, as well as in Bogotá.
Yojan has been part of the Lausanne Covenant (Billy Graham and John Stott org.) for 17 years, focusing on global evangelism in over 14 countries.
For fun Yojan pays football-soccer and ping-pong, and he loves movies and being at home with his family. Yojan says he feels very blessed to be able to serve the Hispanic community in the United States, especially at Fielder Church.
